Speedrist

Arcade racing on your wrist

Speedrist is a full arcade racer that lives on your Apple Watch: eight tracks, fifteen cars and a long career, drawn in real-time 3D and steered with the Digital Crown. It runs on the watch alone, with no iPhone needed, and most races take a minute or two.

Eight tracks, fifteen cars, one Digital Crown

Slide for nitro, find each track's shortcut and race five rivals in real 3D, right on your Apple Watch. No iPhone needed.

  • Third place on Capo Ocra, a cliff road above the sea, with one rival alongside and another ahead
Race five rivals in real 3D
  • Second place on Highfold Saddle, a snowy mountain pass, between a sheer rock wall and the snowfields
    Eight tracks, sea to snow
  • Nitro flames from both exhausts at 258 km/h on Red Dust Run, a desert road at sunset
    Slide, draft, hit the nitro
  • The SHORTCUT banner as the car takes a cut-through on Backlot 9, a film lot, with a rival ahead
    Every track hides a shortcut
  • Capo Ocra at night: the moon, a lighthouse and a rival's tail lights ahead
    Night and Mirror versions
  • The Showroom: the red class A car from the app icon, with bars for top speed, acceleration, handling and braking
    15 original cars, 4 classes

At a glance

8 tracks, 16 layouts

A cape road above the sea, a snowy mountain pass, a desert basin at sunset and five more. Every track runs forward and in reverse, with Mirror and Night versions.

15 original cars

Four in each of classes C, B and A, plus three Special cars to earn, each with its own engine voice and liveries. No real brands, no real models.

Digital Crown steering

The car accelerates by itself. Turn the Digital Crown to choose your line, and flick it to throw the car into a slide.

Nitro

Slides, near misses, slipstreams, air time and clean overtakes fill a three-segment bar. Tap the screen to spend a segment; hold a finger down to brake.

A shortcut on every track

Find it, take it cleanly and gain a second or two. The track maps show you where it is.

Plays offline

No connection and no iPhone nearby needed: every mode plays anywhere, and lowering your wrist pauses the race.

No ads

No ads, no in-app purchases, no account and no data collected. Your progress stays on your watch.

A standalone Apple Watch app

Speedrist is made for Apple Watch and runs on the watch alone: there is no iPhone app to install.

A career to climb

Rise from class C to the Special class through three-race Cups, eight-race Tournaments and five-round Knockouts, where the last car in each round is out and the final is one on one against the class champion.

Win a Tournament to open its Expert events. That makes 128 career races and 120 stars, and cars, layouts, liveries and the Mirror and Night versions open as you race. Every locked item shows what opens it.

More ways to race
